  2. Then verify your approved @codeship.tech Google account.
The next screen belongs to Discord. Use your Discord login there, not your Google password. After signing in, approve Codeship Verify and continue with Google.

Google verification confirms team membership; it does not replace Discord login. Only the five approved team accounts can verify. Your Google password is never shared with this app.
